Who we are

Clarafy is a web design and hosting service run by Thomas Borden in Molalla, Oregon. Contact us at hello.clarafy@gmail.com or (503) 729-3393.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address and/or phone number, business name, and your message. If you become a client, payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored by Clarafy.

Why we collect it

To reply to your inquiry, build your mockup, run the service, and bill you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for anything else.

Who sees it

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides basic, cookieless visitor statistics (such as page views and general location by country). It does not track individual visitors.
• Web3Forms, which receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our email.
• Google (Gmail), which provides the email inbox where form submissions and messages arrive.
• Stripe, which processes monthly payments for clients.
• Anthropic (Claude), an AI tool we use to help design, write, and build websites. Details you share about your business may be processed by it to create your mockup and website.

AI tools

We use AI tools, such as Anthropic's Claude, to help design, write, and build websites. Information you share with us, like your business details, text, and photos, may be processed by these tools to create your mockup and website. A person (Thomas) reviews everything before it is shown to you or published.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept for as long as the account is active, plus whatever period tax law requires.

Your choices: copies and deletion

Anyone can email hello.clarafy@gmail.com to ask for their information to be deleted or for a copy to be sent. We reply within 30 days.

Children

This website is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If we learn we have, we delete it. You must be 18 or older to submit the contact form.
